How to Display Your Portraits at Home
Bringing home your finished portraits is an exciting moment. Choosing the right spot to display them helps you enjoy your investment every day while keeping your artwork safe.
Light plays a big part in how your prints look and how long they last. Hang your portraits away from direct sunlight, which can fade colors over time. Artificial light or soft, indirect daylight will show off the details without causing damage.
Consider the height and grouping of your frames. Eye level is usually best for a single print. If you have a collection of smaller portraits, grouping them close together on one wall creates a warm, personal gallery.
Avoid hanging pictures in places with high humidity, such as right outside a bathroom door. Stable temperatures and dry air will keep the paper and mounts in good condition for years to come.
